The name komeyui comes from ‘kome’ (rice) and ‘yui’ (knot), symbolising authentic food bringing harmony and unity, and binding people together.
The Komeyui Experience
Komeyui’s founder, Kuma, hails from a fishing village in Hokkaido, and has brought with him to Australia his discipline and perfection for authentic, handmade Japanese cuisine.
Kuma wants you to enjoy traditional Japanese food in the authentic way – gathered with friends and family around a table, sharing various delightful dishes.
"Here it is, Japanese creations of the highest excellence."
